An Awfully Big Adventure Guide

Do you have a Elekk Plushie? Have you taken him on the world adventure to visit the 44 battle pet tamers needed to complete the achievement: An Awfully Big Adventure? There are actually two achievements associated with this pet. The first is Overstuffed which you get just by leveling him to 25. But for the second one you just basically use 2 pets teams to beat all the tamers while carrying the Elekk Plushie who does not really have any useful abilities besides being super cute!

A few things to note is that the Elekk Plushie only has to be on the team and alive at the start. He does not have to actually fight (unless you want to get experience for him to level up) and he can die during the fight if you wish to use him to soak particularly hard hits from the rest of your team.

This achievement will take at minimum three weeks to complete because only three of the possible nine tamers will be available each week at the Celestial Tournament. But there is a trick when it comes to the Celestial Tournament trainers, you don’t have to beat them all at the same time. You can beat one, get credit for that trainer on the achievement, exit, heal your pets and go back in to tackle the next one.

Note: The numbers you see below are the spells used by each pet in the default pet journal (1 = top spell) (2 = bottom spell). Be sure to check your pets spells in the default journal NOT any addon UIs which may show the spells in a different order such as Rematch which shows left – right not top – bottom.

Note: You can use these same strategies to power level your pets however to level pets they will need to get at least one hit in on the fight. Just substitute your leveling pet where the Elekk would be positioned. IF your leveling pet does not have enough health to take the initial hit, battle a near by wild pet to get a few levels up then go back and try again.

I actually worked through this achieve while compiling these strategies so I can say 100% they worked for me. I did not use specific breeds and for the most part the pets I chose are easily collected.
